After a long day at work you may need few sips of cocktails to unwind. Especially if the weather is smiling gently. This bar is located on top of the building where machi machi is located. However, the trip upstairs might not be the prettiest because the elevator reeked of smoke. However you will be greeted by nice staff and fresh air. I ordered their baby bear cocktail and took a sip of the papa bear from my mate and I am happy to announce that I enjoyed both. As you have already guessed it's not a cheap place so try and take advantage of happy hour betwee. 4-6pm.

I really like the vibe, it’s pretty chill and easy to get to. The cocktails are great too, I ordered a matcha cocktail (can’t remember the name) but it was sweet and easy to drink. I recently went alone on a Tuesday night and didn’t need a reservation since it wasn’t busy. I actually tried going with my friends (3 of us) on a Thursday once, but it was full so we couldn’t get a table. Funny thing is, a couple came in after us and got a table even though they hadn’t booked, and the staff didn’t mention there were only seats left for two. Overall though, it was a really good experience. They also have quite a variety of promotions.

First time at Goldilocks. Getting there was slightly confusing (I saw a sign for Goldilocks but I think I was thrown off by the dodgy-looking, secluded lift next to Machi Machi on Swanston St). Once I was there, (lift to Level 4, then up 1-2 flights of stairs) the service from staff was great. A very popular spot, it seems. I think it's sensible that Goldilocks provides table service, as there would not be enough room for everyone to be moving constantly around. The little bear shot was such a cute touch. The baby bear cocktail was delish! I ordered dinner as well ('beef'/tofu, black bean and rice). Really lovely experience. Definitely worth another visit!

Unique Roof Top Bar with cosy Goldilocks 'Just right' atmosphere. Hard to find on busy Swanston Street, but worth persevering till you get to the roof. Take lift to 4th floor, and walk up the final flight of stairs to see the cityscape. 🌆 Constantly offering great Asian-Fusion treats, inventive cocktails and drink experiences. We tried the dumplings (Xiaolongbao) and wantons. The Espresso Martini rated high, as did the Maple Old Fashioned. We were tempted to try the 'Boozy Brunch' (all you can eat), however we ran out of time. They were setting up to promote 'Melbourne Moonshine' this month. We tried the 'Apple Pie Shine.' It's brilliant! Frequent events are staged to keep you entertained and returning. PS: They can even cater for your function (call Meagan).

Great cocktails and food was alright. We had the chicken ribs. Espresso martini was amazing!! Recommend making a reservation so you can get a spot with better views. Nice vibe overall and worth a visit.

There's a reason GoldiLocks was voted top ten rooftop bars in Melbourne. Now when you first arrive you may wonder where are you going , it's almost as if you're following the white rabbit in the Matrix but once you get to the rooftop bar you will be pleased. The staff were very friendly when we walked in and we sat anywhere as it wasn't busy. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly and we got our drinks ordered easy. Once they came the drinks were pleasing to the eye as well as the stomach. My espresso martini was amazing. It tasted great and was delightfully strong. We ordered some food while we waited for the rest of our party and while the food took forever and this is due to them using a restaurant located in the building the comped it due to the wait which was great. That being said once it did come it was delicious. While we were all there having a good time they were hearing a pitch from a local company to use there moon shine drink. The salesman was happy to share samples with us and it was great. Now we were told they are going with it and hopefully that was because of us hahaha. Non the less try the apple moon shine. Overall a great experience from start to finish so get up there.

Goldilocks Rooftop Bar is an absolutely wonderful spot in Melbourne! The rooftop offers a truly magnificent view over the city – the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. The cocktails are simply outstanding – creative, beautifully presented, and, most importantly, delicious. You can really tell that the bartenders put thought and skill into every drink. Service was quick, attentive, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a sunset drink, celebrate with friends, or just soak in the city atmosphere with a great cocktail in hand, this rooftop bar is a must-visit. Highly recommended – a hidden gem that captures the best of Melbourne’s nightlife!

Went there for bottomless brunch, be aware that bottomless brunch menu is different from brunch menu!! Food covered in the bottomless brunch was not particularly good because there are only a plate of fries, dumplings, spring roles and wonton for 2 of us to share for the 2hrs session. However, the drinks were amazing, had 6 cocktail options and they are all yummy!!! The staff was so friendly and OMG they came to take the order for my next drink literally the second i put my glass down - for the entire 2 hours. I had 7 cocktails and they were so kind to ask me if I want my 8th glass in the last 5mins!! Would go back for the drinks!!!

Excellent service. The wait staff really made an effort to ensure we had a nice time. Views were lovely, cute happy plants around helped set an atmosphere. Oh and, my dear. The pickle Tommy’s marg was so respectful of the OG. Tasty fun. One last note; the rickety elevator makes for a fun ‘back rooms’ vibe if you’re brining anyone from out of town. Id suggest taking the stairs all the way back down. The exit is a heavily graffitied alley that lands you at the entrance of section 88 (excellent bar)
